Winner of ‘2019 Golden Bull Award’
for best Australian Equity Strategy
We are pleased to announce that Northcape Capital has won the ‘2019 Golden Bull Award’ for best Australian Equity Strategy category at the prestigious Australian Fund Managers Foundation.
The 20th anniversary of the Australian Fund Manager Awards was a sell-out event held on Thursday 17 October 2019 at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney. The event was a great night of industry recognition celebrating the best of the best from the funds management industry. The event also significantly contributed to the two charities supported on the night – the Sydney Children’s Hospital and Odyssey House NSW.
This was the first time our Core Australian Equity strategy has been nominated for a leading industry award. The nomination criteria are performance, consistency to process and fund size. At 30 September 2019, our Core fund was the #1 long only Australian equity fund over 1 year (outperforming by 4.5%) and 3 years (outperforming by 3.6%) and ranks in the top quartile over the 5 years against a very strong peer group.
