Malony has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and is the Senior IT Manager at Northcape, based in the firm’s Sydney office. He joined Northcape in 2025 and is responsible for the operational management of the firm’s IT infrastructure and supports IT governance through change control, audit, and compliance activities.
Prior to joining Northcape, Malony began his career at Fujitsu, building a strong foundation in enterprise technology. He then moved to Microsoft, where he spent almost 9 years in the data centre environment as the Operations Manager and earning multiple professional certifications along the way. Malony subsequently transitioned into the financial services sector, holding roles at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi (MUFG) and Bank of New York-Mellon (BNY), where he developed deep expertise in the management of technology within regulated financial environments. He later joined the NSW Government, gaining valuable experience in public sector IT operations and governance. Malony is a Certified Scrum Master and holds a Cyber Security Certification from ISC2, reflecting his strong focus on secure, resilient, and well governed technology delivery.
Malony holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Batangas State University (PH) and has completed professional certificates in Economic Development from the University of Oxford and Open Data from the University of NSW.
Louisa has over 20 years experience in the funds management industry and joined the Investment Operations Team at Northcape in December 2024 and is in our Sydney office.
Before joining Northcape, Louisa spent 2 years with MA Financial Group as the Director of Fund Operations where she was responsible for the transformation of the fund accounting and fund operations teams.
Between 2015 to 2021, Louisa was the Head of Investment Operations at BT Financial Group where she was responsible for the investment operations functions of the BT Investment Solutions investment and super funds. Prior to this, Louisa held various operational roles with Advance Asset Management, Westpac and BNP Paribas.
Louisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney.
Toki has over 5 years experience in the funds management industry, having worked in various client service and operations roles. Toki joined Northcape in June 2025 and is in our Sydney office.
Prior to joining Northcape Capital, Toki was an investment operations analyst at Apostle Funds Management where he handled the daily operations of the funds and worked alongside compliance in completing regulatory requirements and requests from institutional investors.
Toki holds a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional and a Master’s in Environmental Management from from the University of New South Wales
Eliza has over 13 years experience in the investment industry and is responsible for all client relationships, as well as marketing and business development at Northcape. Eliza joined Northcape in 2025 and is in our Sydney office.
Before joining Northcape, Eliza spent 5 years working with Firetrail Investments, a Sydney based Global and Australian equities investment manager. Eliza was responsible for client servicing, relationship management and marketing for institutional and wholesale clients, and produced highly regarded market commentary across video and email platforms. She also acted as back-up dealer supporting best execution and cashflow management.
Prior to this Eliza worked at Macquarie Group in Hong Kong and Sydney structuring derivative solutions for corporate clients across Asia, US, and Europe.
Eliza holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney.
Robert is an Independent Director of the Northcape Board appointed in October 2024.
Robert has 34 years of experience as a financial services executive with extensive experience in equities research and portfolio management, private equity investing and superannuation. He was more recently Head of Public and Private Equity at Aware Super. Prior to his role at Aware Super, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Macquarie Private Bank and a Division Director in Macquarie’s private equity advisory and funds management business. Robert started his financial services career in Macquarie Securities prior to which Robert worked in the Federal Treasury in Canberra.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from Sydney University, is a CFA® Charterholder and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Kokila has over 2 years of experience in the finance industry, with roles including Financial Reporting Intern at Deutsche Bank, Investment Analyst, and Finance Lecturer. She joined Northcape in 2024 and is part of the Responsible Investment team.
Kokila holds a Master of International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland and is an ACCA Affiliate.
Christine is an Independent Director of the Northcape Board appointed in June 2023.
Christine has over 30 years experience as a financial services executive and board member with extensive experience in investment management, superannuation, financial planning, and not-for-profit organisations.
Before joining Northcape, Christine was on the Board and Chair of Investment Committee for the superannuation fund, Aracon Pty Ltd. She was also on the Board and Investment Committee for Neuroscience Research Australia and is currently on the Finance Committee of Legacy Club Services. Prior to her non-executive roles, Christine was Head of Strategic Relationships at Maple-Brown Abbott for seven years from 2013 to 2020, responsible for sales, service and marketing of institutional clients.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Macquarie University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
David has more than 30 years capital markets experience with a focus on corporate governance, company disclosure, and ESG risk management. He is based in our Sydney office.
Before joining Northcape, David led the development of the active ownership program at New South Wales Treasury Corporation (TCorp) within the Investment Stewardship team. This included active ownership strategy, corporate engagement, proxy voting, peer collaboration, and ESG integration, to assess and manage risks across Australian and international holdings. Outside of corporate governance, David has a deep interest in risks related to climate change, just transition, human capital, labour rights, and indigenous rights.
Prior to TCorp, David was an investor relations adviser to ASX and NZX listed companies, supporting their market disclosure and investor relationships. He spent the early part of his career as an equities analyst, providing a solid grounding in business models and shareholder value.
David holds a Bachelor of Business from Curtin (WA) majoring in economics and finance, and a Master of Arts (International Studies) from UTS (NSW) majoring in Latin America. He speaks Spanish as a second language.
Maite has over 30 years’ experience in the funds management industry and is the Head of Risk & Governance at Northcape. Maite joined Northcape in January 2022 and is in our Sydney office.
Maite is a member of the Risk and Compliance team and serves as Northcape’s AML/CTF Compliance Officer. Maite’s responsibility is to maintain an effective risk management framework and ensure Northcape meets its legal and regulatory obligations.
Prior to Northcape, Maite held governance, risk and compliance roles with various financial services firms, including Rest, Suncorp, Nikko Asset Management, AMP Capital, Colonial First State, QBE and State Street. Maite has strong experience in investment governance, risk management, investment compliance, and regulatory compliance.
Maite holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney.
Wendy has over 17 years experience in the investment industry and is responsible for all client relationships, as well as marketing and business development at Northcape. Wendy joined Northcape in 2021 and is in our Sydney office.
Before joining Northcape, Wendy was a Director of Client Development at JANA, Australia’s largest investment consulting firm. In this role she was responsible for sales and client retention, including leading strategic growth initiatives and client strategy. Prior to this Wendy held various senior investment advice and research positions and institutional product development roles with MLC and NAB.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology Sydney, B.Bus. and has completed a Master of Applied Finance from the Macquarie University Business School.
